The cover will open automatically within 0.5second when put any object in the inductive distance.
The cover will close automatically 5-6 seconds later after throwing the rubbish into the dustbin.
Four batteries"AA" to be used about 3-6 months. 

How does the sensor dustbin work?
1.Open the cover the battery case at the bottom of sensor dustbin,then equipped with four batteries "AA".Don't damage the circuit for we have considered of protecting it.Open the power switch at the behind of the dustbin.At this moment,the red indicating light will be on for 3 seconds Then it will flash every other 2 seconds,which shows that the circuit is now in normal working condition.
2.When you're going to throw rubbish into inner bucket,only keep the objects or your hand about 15 cm high above the induction window(in vertical direction),the lid will automatically open within 0.5 second.After throwing the rubbish into the dustbin,the cover will automatically close about 5-6 seconds later when you put your hand away from the inducition window.
3. The dustbin can be opened by hand: Press the button which is on the left of the induction window,the cover opens automatically but it cann't close automatically.If you want to close the dustbin, you have to press the on-right-side button.
 CAUTION: No touch the lid by hand when it's in operation.
